This is a J&G Meakin Hanley England ironstone Sweet Pea pattern, green transferware on white with faded gold trim. The dish is egg or teardrop shaped, it is a sweet meat dish. The dish is embossed along the rim. It is 9" x 5 1/4." This pattern dates to 1898. There is a small chip on the underside of the rim, not visible from the front.
