This is a vintage black velvet shoulder bag or clutch, made in India. It is embroidered with gold thread and colorful glass beads in a floral pattern. The purse is 6 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 1." It has the original Pier 1 price tag, which also says Made in India. The purse is in excellent condition.
