This is a small Reinhold Schlegelmil Germany porcelain plate marked RS Germany in green with a wreath and star on the back. The plate is hand painted and also has a transfer decoration. The green wash background and gold bands are hand painted, the roses and leaves are transfer decals. The plate is 7 1/2" wide. It is in very good condition: there is a tiny nick in the rim, and gold trim on the rim is faded. The mark dates to around 1920.
