This is a Rosenthal Sanssouci cream or ivory porcelain square vegetable bowl. Rosenthal used this Sanssouci shape as the blank for a multitude of patterns. This specific floral pattern is unnamed. There is gold trim on the rim, and an embossed scroll design around the rim. The bowl is 9 1/2" wide and 2 1/4" deep. The backstamp is green and reads "Rosenthal Classic Germany Sanssouci."
