This is a vintage demitasse cup and saucer, creamware pottery. The cup and saucer are both decorated with a colorful image of a mother, daughter, and small dog. The women are in dressed with hoop skirts and ruffled tiers, so 1850s-60s era fashion. The cup is marked on one side "Souvenir of atkins Glen, NY." The W from the beginning of Watkins Glen has worn away. The cup is 3" wide and 2 3/8" tall, the saucer is 4 7/8" wide. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. They are not signed or marked as to the maker.
