This is a vintage ring marked "sterling shank" on the inside of the band, set with an emerald cut purple stone. I do not know if it is a genuine amethyst or a rhinestone. The ring is roughly a size 6.5. It is in very good condition, you will probably want to clean and polish it. JST.
