This is an early american pattern glass bowl in the Grenade pattern. Grenade was produced by an unknown maker. The pattern features oval filled with large cane or buttons, with small triangles of finecut diamonds between the ovals along the bottom edge. There is a pressed star in the center base of the bowl, the rim is ruffled and scalloped. The bowl is 9 3/4" wide. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Early American Pattern glass was produced between 1880-1925, broadly. Since I don't know the maker, I don't know when this was made, precisely.
