This is a vintage DRU of Holland tulips pattern enamel over cast iron pot or casserole dish. It is white with blue trim and blue tulips. DRU stands for Diepenbrock & Reigers of Ulft in Holland. DRU produced the Tulips pattern in a variety of pastel colors, most commonly in shades of blue. This is the first white piece I have seen. Tulips was made from the 1930s-1960s. The casserole pot is 9 3/4" across the handles, 8 1/4" wide without the handles, 5 1/2" high with the lid. THere are a few chips to the rim of the lid, and some utensil marks inside the pot. The underside of both pot and lid are marked DRU Made in Holland with a blue stamped backstamp, and there is also an incised mark 4826-20.
