This is an antique Staffordshire porcelain dog figurine from the late 1800s-early 1900s. It is a miniature, only 3" tall. The dog is some type of a terrier with a white body, brown ears, a brown spot on his back, and brown tail. The very tip of the left ear is chipped off, and there are some popped bubbles in the glaze on the left side near the jaw. He is standing on an oval pedestal with hand painted green grass. The base is not marked or signed. The figurine is solid porcelain, the base has an indentation so that the oval area is hollow. The figurine is not marked or signed. MBR.
