This is a Royal Richmond tea canister tin. The tin is a hexagon box. The lid reads "Royal Richmond Tea Branches Throughout Her Majesty's Kingdom." The base reads "Genuine British tinplate produced in association with Sari Fabrics Huntley Boorne & Stevens Sole Manucturers Reading & London producers of metal containers since 1830 the original producers of lithographic tinplate containers from 1872 container made in England in the Royal County of Berkshire." The tin is 5 1/2" wide and 4 1/8" tall. It is in good to very good condition. There is rust on the bare metal edges and a small dent on the base.
