This is a vintage Wedgwood blue and white Boston Historical Scenes dinner plate, featuring the Old South Church. The plate is 10 3/8" wide. Wedgwood made two different patterns with the same scenes in the center, one with a roses rim and one with a bluebells rim. This one features the bluebells rim. The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are three blue backstamps. The first reads "Old South Church Washington and Milk St Tea Party met here 1773." The next is the Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston Made in England mark, and the third is the importers mark "Sole Importers Jones McDurfee & Stratton Boston."
