Here is a vintage chevron stripe cotton half apron in dark blue, light blue, orange, white, and green. The chevron effect was created by taking striped fabric, cutting it on the bias to create a diagonal stripe, and then sewing panels together alternating up and down. It was carefully done. There is a row of white ric rac around the sides and bottom hem. The waist is the same material cut straight, with an appliqued patch pocket at a slight angle. The apron is 16" wide across the waist front and 24" long. It is in excellent condition.
