This is an antique mouth blown clear glass stein with a hand painted soldier on the front. The soldier is wearing a brown uniform coat with red braid, blue pants with a red regimental stripe, a grey hat with a feather plume, and a grey sash. I have not been able to identify the uniform. The stein has a domed and decorated pewter lid. It has an etched mark 0.3L above the applied handle. It is not marked as to maker. There is one tiny chip to the rim under the lid near the handle, no other damage. I believe this dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. It is 6 3/8" tall to the top of the thumb piece of the handle.
