This is a single 8" salad plate in the Greenbrier pattern. The Greenbrier is a popular, historic resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Multiple manufacturers have created china patterns for the Greenbrier, generally in restaurant ware weight pottery. This plate is an octagon with gold trim on the rim and the verge. There is a wide band of apple green and the center is filled with pink rhododendrons. The back is marked The Greenbrier White Sulphur Springs West Virginia, but there is no maker mark. It is in very good condition. There is a spot of missing paint at one corner of the octagon, it may have rubbed off from a display piece holding it there. MBR.
