This is a vintage 1970s homemade bent wood basket with a wooden lid. The lid is decorated with decoupaged flowers and mushrooms on the top and bottom. There is a dark green velvet ribbon around the top rim of the basket. The lining is made of dark green corduroy. The basket could be used as a purse, but there is no clasp to secure the lid closed. The basket is 9 5/8" wide at the top, tapering down to 8 1/4" wide at the base. It is 9" tall. There are four gold tone ball feet on the base. It is in very good to excellent condition. There is a minor bit of paint loss on the wood handle and a little on the basket. MBR.
