Here is a vintage yellow and red marbled celluloid plastic mechanical pencil. It is not marked as to the maker. The side is engraved "Buchanan Co-ops 1946." It was probably a promotional give away item. The pencil is in very good condition, in good working order. There is some brassing to the gold tone metal hardware. It uses wide 1.1 mm lead. There is an eraser under the top, the eraser is old and should probably be replaced if you want to use the pencil.
