Here is an antique Haviland Limoges tall ewer style pitcher. It does not have the Haviland marks on the base, but this is a recognizable Haviland Limoges shape with scalloped rims, a skirt effect at the base, and fluted panels along the sides. The blank was hand painted by an amateur artist much more recently. It is signed Alice Jordan 1986 on the base. The rims have heavy gold hand painted trim, much heavier gold than is typically found on this or similar blanks. The painted decoration is of acorns, oak leaves, and oak branches. The pitcher is 9 3/4" tall at the back, 10" tall at the spout, and 5" wide across the base. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
