This is a single hand painted dinner plate in the Golden Shell pattern by Fire-King Anchor Hocking. It is painted with a farm scene, including green grass, a red barn, white picket fence, white house, flowers, and water. Shell is a swirled pattern with a scalloped rim, not to be confused with Swirl, which is a swirled pattern with a smooth rim. Golden Shell is white milk glass with 22K gold trim on the rims. The dinner plate is 10" wide, in very good condition with no chips or cracks, but there is some wear to the paint, especially the flowers painted on the rim. Golden Shell was produced from 1965-1976.
