This is an antique piece of Germany porcelain made by Lehmann & Son. It is marked Leuchtenburg Germany on the base. This jar is either a short biscuit/cookie jar, or an huge sugar bowl. It is 6 1/4" wide across the handles and 5 1/4" tall with the handle on the lid. Replacements calls this pattern LHM12. It has a rim of embossed dots and scrolls and a slightly ruffled and scalloped edge with gold trim. There are hand painted white flowers with yellow centers and green leaves. The jar is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It dates to the late 1800s-early 1900s. MBR.
