This is a vintage early 1900s periwinkle blue slag glass highly embossed stein or mug. It has four different arched window panels, each with a different scene. This mold was used by multiple glass companies, including Greentown, Fenton, and Westmoreland. It is not marked as to maker, but this color of blue slag glass was produced by Fenton around 1935, so that seems the most likely. The mug is 5" tall and 3" wide at the top, 3 1/2" wide at the base. It says in German around the bottom "Massig trinken Lieder Singen Half von Je zu Guten Dingen." That roughly translates to "Drink in moderation, sing songs, bring good things to all." There is a small chip in the top rim near the handle. Price reflects condition. MBR.
