This is a porcelain bon bon or nappy dish decorated by the Osborne Decorating Art Studio of Chicago in the early 1900s. It is all over 24K gold on a T & V Limoges blank. The gold encrusted design is of grape vines and grapes around the rim. The dish is 10 1/2" wide. It is in very good to excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. The only damage is a bit of gold rubbed off along the rims and the edge of the handle. The base is marked "Osborne Hand Wrought Gold." The signature dates the piece to 1917-1940, the T & V Limoges blank comes from the earlier part of that time. SC.
