This is a handled square cake or sandwich plate pattern in the pink Mayfair Open Rose pattern by Anchor Hocking. Hocking Glass (before they became Anchor Hocking) produced Mayfair from 1931-1937, which makes this platter authentic Depression Glass. It is unusual in that the glass is frosted or satinized and has hand painted flowers and leaves on the underside. Two of the flowers are mostly present, two are mostly worn away. It is14" wide handle to handle. The plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
