This is an L.E. Smith black Depression glass Greek Key pattern vase or cache pot. It stands on three toes, legs, or feet. The vase is 4 5/8" wide and 4 1/4" tall. Originally, it had a flower frog in the top, but that is not present. There is one small chip along the inner top rim, no other damage. L.E. Smith produced this design in the 1930s, it is authentic Depression Glass. It is amethyst purple when held to a strong light.
