This is an open sugar bowl in the Golden Shell pattern by Anchor Hocking. Shell is a swirled pattern with a scalloped rim, not to be confused with Swirl, which is a swirled pattern with a smooth rim. Golden Shell is white milk glass with 22K gold trim on the rims. This gets a little confusing with the sugar bowl, because both patterns use the same sugar bowl shape. You can tell the difference between Golden Shell and Golden Anniversary Swirl on the sugar by looking at the gold trim. If the trim is solid, it is Shell. If it is airbrushed, it is Swirl. The sugar is 3 3/4" wide and 3 3/8" tall, in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Golden Shell was produced from 1965-1976. Please see my other items for more in this pattern. JG.
