This is a small just marked Govancroft Stoneware Made in Scotland on the base. It has a cobalt blue glazed top with matching stopper, and a natural beige stoneware lower half. The artwork is signed P.F. Alexander and features a male cock pheasant on one side and a female hen pheasant with chicks on the other. The jug is 6 1/2" tall with the stopper. It originally held Lindisfarne Mead Liquor, but is now empty.
