This is a clear glass basket made by L.E. Smith, marked with an S on the base. It is in the Smith Heritage pattern, which is a wide ranging pattern consisting of a variety of molds bought from other companies and reused by Smith. This particular piece used the Quintec molds from McKee. McKee made Quintec around 1910, Smith made this basket in the Heritage line in the 1960s. It is 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 6 1/2." The basket is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
