This is a vintage New York City souvenir plate, decorated in full color. IN the center it features the Statue of Liberty and says "New York City of Wonders." Around the rim are scenes of the United Nations, Rockefeller Center, International Airport, Coney Island, Times Square, and the Empire State Building. The New York International Airport opened in 1948 and was renamed for John F Kennedy in 1963, so the plate dates in that period from 1948-1963. It is 9" across, with no chips or cracks. It is heavily crazed. There is a red and gold foil label on the back that reads "Nov Co Made in Japan."
