This is a vintage 1950s hand painted Clown figural cookie jar, marked PY Japan on the base. It is in very good condition. There is crazing, and a small chip on the rim near the face, not visible when the lid is on. There are no cracks. The jar is 7 3/4" tall with the lid. The paint is all in excellent condition. Perfect for a clown or circus collection.
