This is a rare decorated piece of Lace Edge by Anchor Hocking in white milk glass. The plain, undecorated pieces are relatively common, but this is the first piece I have seen that is decorated. The lace edge rim is airbrushed with 22K gold, and there are transfer decals of yellow roses in the center. The base is stamped in gold "NOR-SO Camden, Ark. 22KT. Gold." The compote is 11" wide and 4 1/4" high. There are two chips on the underside of the lace edge, please see the photos. Lace Edge was produced in the 1950s.
