This is a green transferware commemorative souvenir plate for the diamond (75th) jubilee anniversary of East Chicago, Indiana in 1968. It was made by Kettlesprings Kilns of Ohio. The plate features scenes of Washington High School, City Hall, Roosevelt High School, Oil refineries, Steel manufacturing, St Catherine Hospital, and the Old fire house at Elm & Guthrie circa 1900s. In the center of the plate is the seal of the city. The plate is 10" wide. It is in excellent condition.
