This is an antique late 1890s-early 1900s hand blown opaline milk glass egg. It has the word Easter and a pansy hand painted on the top. The egg is weighted so the decoration stays on the top. The egg is large, at 5 3/8" long and 3 1/2" wide. It has a pontil mark. The paint is slightly worn, but really in great shape for being over 100 years old. MBR.
