This is a small cabinet plate, 8 3/4" wide, marked Wheelock Vienna Austria, MZ Austria, Hand Painted. It has three different backstamps. Wheelock was a porcelain and pottery company in Illinois, but by 1900 they contracted to purchase blanks from major European porcelain manufacturers and then hand painted and decorated the blanks at the Wheelock factory. This piece was made by Moritz Zdekauer of Austria. It has a fancy rim with gold trim and hand painted green leaves on a vine. There is more gold on the verge and the center is fully covered by a hand painted green background and a large white magnolia flower. The rim is scalloped.
