This is an antique rectangular gravy or sauce tureen in white ironstone, decorated with pink flowers and grey and brown leaves and stems. There is also gold trim on the rims and handles. The backstamp reads "Stone China T.P. Co. Dresden" with a coat of arms in the center. The Potters Cooperative was in operation in East Liverpool, Ohio, from 1882-1925, working in white ironstone. This mark dates to between 1882-1895. The tureen is 7 1/2" handle to handle and 4" tall with the lid. There are no chips or cracks, but there is crazing. It is missing the sauce ladle. MBR.
