This is an antique white ironstone bowl or basin, meant to go under a water pitcher. It is 14" wide with a slightly oval shape, and 4 1/2" deep. The bowl is crazed under the glaze, but there are no chips or cracks. The backstamp reads "Trade Mark Ironstone China W.B. Jr. & Co." This mark was used by the William Brunt Jr. & Co, of East Liverpool, Ohio, from 1877-1882.
