This unusual piece is a steel pan or shallow bowl in steel, painted in cream enamel with a recipe around the sides in black gothic font. The recipe reads "1 1/4 cups flour; pinch of salt; 3 eggs beaten; 1 1/2 cups milk; 2 TBSP. Butter, Melted." The recipe is for popovers, but I can't figure out what a popover recipe is doing on a bowl or pan that is shaped like a Jamaican steel drum. The pan is 11 1/2" wide and 1 7/8" tall.
