This is a large white porcelain plate, platter, charger, or tray. It is marked "MZ Austria" in green, and also "Made in Austria Habsburg China" also in green, in a separate backstamp. The first mark dates it to between 1884-1909, made at the factory in Altrohlau, Austria (now in the Czech Republic). The decoration is mostly transfer, but all the gold is hand painted. The chop plate is 12 1/2" wide with a scalloped rim. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or any but minor wear to the paint.
