This is a vintage 1950s 11 inch doll of a Mexican senorita or young lady. She is almost completely cloth, wearing a red and green skirt, a red sombrero, and a cream blouse with embroidered flowers and a bird. There is also a red sash that crosses over her shoulders, waist, and back. The sash is pinned to the doll and the ends of the sash are frayed in back. There is a sewn in fabric label that reads "Farapes Tejidos a mano J.L. Legorreta & Hno. Av. Juarez y Lopez Mexico Made in Mexico." Her face is composition with a slight flocked surface. Her features are hand painted. The doll was photographed with a doll stand, but the stand is not included. MBR.
