This is a complete nine piece salad set with one large serving bowl, six small bowls, and a serving fork and spoon. All the pieces are in excellent condition. This is heavy, thick lacquer ware, not the newer thin stuff. The large bowl is 9" wide at the top, 10 5/8" wide at the widest point, and 3 5/8" deep. It has a hand painted scene of a pagoda in front of a mountain, next to a bridge, with a sail boat in the water. There is inlaid mother of pearl or abalone in the scene in the large bowl. The small bowls are each 5 3/4" x 1 3/4." They each have a different scene in the center, hand painted in gold, red, and grey. All the bowls are signed AIZU Made in Japan. The spoon and fork are 10 3/4" long.
