Here is a 1940's GE compact travel iron, 650 watts, with a cloth cord. The black and white cord is in excellent condition it has been plugged in and tested. The iron is missing the plastic water bulb. There is some discoloration on the sole plate commensurate with age, and minimal scratching. The handle is black bakelite. The heat settings are low, rayon, wool, cotton, and linen. The iron is 7 3/8" x 3 3/8." It is marked on the base General Electric Co. Cat. No. HIF47 650 Watts 120 Volts Made in USA A.C. Only Bridgeport Conn.
