This is a vintage Pizzelle iron with red painted wooden handles. It is for making lacy Pizzelle pastries or cookies on the stovetop. The iron is 4 1/4" across and 16" long to the end of the handles. There is a bit of wear to the red paint, and a metal ring that sits on top of the handle where it connects to the steel rod is loose and slides up and down the rod. The iron is not marked or signed. It is in very good condition with light wear to the metal.
