This is the January 1973 printing of the 1964 edition of the Joy of Cooking, a classic cook book that has delighted and assisted many generations of home cooks. The book is in excellent condition, it appears unused. The binding is turquoise hard covers, it is nice and tight. There are two red grossgrain ribbons for bookmarks. The book was illustrated by Ginnie Hofmann and Beverly Warner, and published by the Bobbs-Merril Company, Inc in Indianapolis, Indiana. There is an inscription in the back dated 1974 from the owner of this copy, a lady in Mishawaka, Indiana. There is a tiny bit of wear to the corners of the cover.
