This is a single soup mug glazed grey with a blue Bill of Fare decoration on the front. The mug is marked on the base with WS in a maple leaf, which is a mark used by Western Stoneware until 1930. Monmouth Pottery joined Western Stoneware in 1906, so both names are proper for attribution. The mug is 4 3/4" wide and 2 5/8" tall. It is in good condition, there is a minor nick to the glaze on the rim over the L in Bill on the decoration. There is also another small chip and a small crack near the handle. Price reflects condition.
