This handbag is an olive green canvas over vinyl bucket, embellished in with a rooster. The purse is 11" wide, 10 1/2" tall, and 3 3/4" deep. The rooster is made of sequins, gold cord, and plastic gems or jewels. The gold cord outlining the rooster's belly has come slightly unglued and needs a dab of fresh glue. The tail is made of sequins in pale green, blue, and pink. The gems are red, amber, and green. There are a few missing gems that fell off when the glue failed. I think you could find replacements at a hobby or craft store and restore the handful of missing pieces.
A famous purse designer created fabulous embellished bucket and wooden box purses in the 1960s, leading to a group of knock-off home kits where women could make their own, similar purses. This is one of those kit bags. The olive green color is unusual. The handle and trim are green vinyl, the body of the bag is green canvas, and the base is a wooden panel. The interior is green vinyl with a slip and zippered pocket hanging over the back wall.Other than the few missing gems and loose piece of cord, the purse is in very good to excellent condition. There is no structural damage.
