This is a simply decorated porcelain covered vegetable dish, marked PMS Bavaria and Turin Bavaria on the back. Both backstamps are green. The dish is white with wide gold trim and a band of cream around the rim of the lid. The dish is 10 1/4" wide handle to handle, 8" wide rim to rim. It is in excellent condition with no chips or crack and only a tiny bit of wear to the gold. It was made by Porzellanfabrik Moschendorf A.G., Bavaria in the 1920s. In the 1930s-50s the same company was knows as Porzellanfabrik Otto Reinecke.
