The diamond in this ring is so sparkly; I love it! So, while the clarity of the 1.55 carat solitaire is I1 (meaning that there are eye visible inclusions in the diamond), it is a very beautiful stone, and one that you will love to watch scintillate during the day or night. And, keep in mind that the average engagement-ring diamond in the United States is approximately 1/4 carat, so you are getting quite a large diamond here.
I1 clarity stones are well-known for offering a great deal of beauty at a relatively reasonable price; a comparably-sized stone in a SI1 clarity would be significantly more expensive but would essentially offer the same look.
How noticeable are the inclusions in the center stone? Well, honestly, unless you get very close to the diamond, you're not going to see anything other than a big, glittering diamond. But, the inclusions are there, and I've done my best to capture them in the photographs.
The center stone was appraised, and you will receive that appraisal with the ring. Given diamond prices today, it wouldn't be easy to purchase the center stone for the price at which I am offering the entire ring, which is very attractive.
Please note that the ring is currently a size 6, but it can easily be re-sized.
This ring would make a great engagement ring; please see the separate offering of a wedding band in 14 karat white gold with diamonds at The Four Kings Jewelry Shop; it would complement this engagement ring beautifully! Additionally, you might want to look at the platinum and diamond Hamilton ladies watch being offered separately at The Four Kings.
