This is a find! It dates back to early 1800's and the workmanship on this is beautiful. This small brass box is a wonderful way for you to store your most prized treasures. It has intricate designs along the outside of the box, and has a swinging handle at the top of it for ease-of-carry. The way in which the box "locks" is the most unique of all. Two separate flanks move up and down in order to keep the box closed.
