This vermeil mesh purse dates to the 1920's, and is of the highest quality of workmanship! Tiny woven links are joined in a fine mesh that has the texture of a heavy silk against the skin. The clasp has ornate imagery of two swans with scrolling motifs. Please note, some of the gold plating has worn away, see photos for details. Ready to wear or gift, this piece is simply gorgeous!
