This is an exceptional example of a perfect, dark navy blue sapphire with an optimal depth of color. The sapphire sits prominently in a six high-prong vintage setting that allows ample light to move up and through the stone. The intricate filigree work of the setting features delicate floral accents and cutouts that will cascade beautifully down the finger when worn. There are also tiny “keyhole” patterns that sweep along the underside of the band. This sapphire ring could be worn as a cocktail ring or even as a lovely alternative to the traditional diamond engagement ring. The mounting is a piece originally made in the Art Deco era, that we've restored and 'upcycled' simply by adding a new sapphire.
