Wow! This ring is a sparkling, glowing stunner! The mounting, with the opals inlaid around the edge, dates to the 1960's or so, a piece that was crafted by a goldsmith but never sold by a jeweler. We've set the center with a wonderful, gray-blue star sapphire. This is a pale blue gem, although it seems to be showing with a more purple hue in the photos, as we do our best to photograph the distinct star!
