This is the most stunning and rare tabletop mannequin dating to the Edwardian period so circa 1910. She is completely original with no replacement parts. She is covered in her original silk covering which I think was once red as there are still traces of the original colour where the fabric hasn't faded. Her stand, neck finial and arm roundels are all completely original to her, there is a slight nick out her her neck finial but nothing terrible. Her silk covering has faded over the years and she does have some water marks to the silk and a couple of tears to the fabric which is totally commensurate with age, please study the photographs. She has a number 44 stamped at the base of her neck but no other makers marks but in my opinion is the quality of a Stockman. She originated in France. She is the typical Edwardian shape of the period with her pigeon breast. She would make a wonderful display item for the collector. A hard one to part with! She measures 34 inches in height. Her chest measurement is 36 inches and waist 24 inches. If you require more photos please do ask as I am limited to only 9 on the listing. Please contact me for layaway options. Please note that the plinth is not included in the sale.
